Tournament Times:
Saturday, June 5th – 10:00 A.M. – 7:00 P.M.
Sunday, June 6th
– 6:00 A.M. –
All boats are to be launched at the Willard Munger Landing, which is located on Clyde Avenue which just north of Spirit Lake (this is the same landing we used last time). You have to take Highway 23 or Grand Avenue south out of Duluth off Highway 35
· This is a 2 day, team walleye tournament.
· Twelve (12) fish limit for Saturday & six (6) fish limit for Sunday
· Mandatory catch and release policy in place. Any kept fish disqualifies you for the day.
· 2 lines per person can be used.
· Live bait is allowed.
· Minimum length is 14”.
· Slot limits are not in effect
· We will be fishing Coast Guard regulated waters. As such, boaters need to have the following on board: fire extinguisher, paddle and life jackets (there may be additional requirements?).
· There are several bays on the river which require a Wisconsin fishing license. These waters are off limits during the tournament. All other waters reachable from the landing are fair game.
Accommodations:
Information regarding accommodations is located in the Member Only area.
Food:
Boat partners should arrange for bag lunches for Saturday during the day. We have made reservations for dinner on Saturday night at the Black Woods Bar & Grill located about a mile north of our motel on Boundary Avenue which is connected to the American Inn. Breakfast will be available at our motel on Sunday morning at 4:30 AM.
