Start time: 7:30 a.m. You may put in at any of the launch points on the lake, but you cannot start fishing or leave your launch point until 7:30 a.m.

Solunar times: Sunrise at 6:51 a.m., sunset at 7:28 p.m., moonrise at 6:18pm.

Finish time:   4:00 p.m. at the Grand Casino Mille Lacs rear parking lot. We ask that competing dogs stay for dinner in the casino immediately following the event.

Bait:  Live and artificial bait is allowed.

Scoring:   Largest fish in each of the eligible species noted above, plus bonus points will be awarded for each species caught according to the following chart (same as in 2007)

Weather permitting, Mama's Boy is hoping for some optional night-fishing on either Friday or Saturday night. Mama’s Boy says, “…a few years ago we fished till 5:30 a.m. one morning because fishing was so good we didn’t want to go in!” Check with MB on it if you're interested. This would not be part of the scored event.
